1970 – April 04; UH-1P slicks and gunships of the 20th SOS “Green Hornets”, crew’s unkn, supported the rescue of MACV SOG recon team, RT Trowel, from deep in enemy held territory that was being chased by enemy forces. No other details are known at this time. “Secret Green Beret Commandos In Cambodia” by Lt. Col. Fred S. Lindsey, USA (Ret.)

 

 

1970 – April 04; CH-3E #66-13292 of the 21st SOS was hit by 37 mm AAA and damaged over Tchepone, Laos, but was able to recover safely at Nakhon Phanom RTAFB, Thailand.
