1970 – April 06; A HH-53C from the 40th ARRS, crewed by Lt. Col. Franklin S. Catlin (P), Dennis H. Sattler (CP), Stephen L. LeBeau (FE), Terry E. Caffery  (PJ), Donald G. Behrends (PJ) and Gerald G. Boswell (AP), rescued the pilot of a A-1H (Call sign “Sandy 03”), 1st Lt. James R. Matthews, after he ejected from his 23 mm AAA fire damaged aircraft about 10 miles SE of Ban Ban, Laos. “PJ’s in Vietnam” by Robert L.
