1970 – May 07; A HH-53 from the 40th ARRS, crewed by Capt. William A. Furst (P), James T. Jewett (CP), Maurice F. Tasker (FE), Edward M. Willis (PJ), T. E. Carmichael (PJ) and Raymond G. Banas (AP), rescued the pilot of a OV-10A (Call sign “Nail 28”), Capt. Michael L.
