1970 – May 15; A HH-43F from Det. 7, 38th ARRS, at Da Nang AB, RVN crewed by Capt. David A. Voigt (P), unkn (CP), unkn (FE) and unkn (PJ), rescued the crew members, 1st Lt. Richard C. Rissel (P) and 1st Lt. J. F. Fitzmaurice (CP), of a USMC F-4B after their aircraft was hit while attacking a target near the Song Cu De River about seven miles northeast of Da Nang AB, RVN and they ejected after getting near Da Nang AB. “Vietnam Air Losses” by Chris Hobson & “PJ’s in Vietnam” by Robert L. 1970 – May 15; A HH-43B from Det. 2, 38th ARRS, crewed by Capt. Lorenzo M. Crowell Jr. (P), unkn (CP), unkn (FE) and unkn (PJ), rescued an F-105D (Call sign “Madman 04”) pilot, Alan V.
